    Like all fast food restaurants, KFC Mareeba seems to hold a rather low hygienic standard and is therefore often dirty. However, this particular level of griminess far surpasses even the local McDonald's just up the road. As well as this, on the few occasions i have been to this establishment, staff have forgotten meal components and have generally been slow. Overall this KFC should be an example of poor service across the entire country.

  • Review of "Granite Gorge Nature Park" at Mareeba

    We camped overnight at Granite Gorge. There was plenty of room for camping, the grounds were maintained and there are beautiful non powered sites by the creek. The Granite boulder walks are good fun, but the grade 4 part is for adventurous and reasonably fit people only. Plenty of time wildlife, I had a rock wallaby sit on my lap at one point. Amazing value for money compared to other nature Parks that I have been to.
